It is a sequel to Hellboy (2004) and the second live-action film in the franchise. Directed and written by Guillermo del Toro, the film is based on a story he co-wrote with Mignola.The Tooth Fairy was an exercise in intentional contrast. A seemingly delicate creature with an innocent countenance, fragile wings, and spindly legs, its true nature only becomes clear when we see it in action.
